A “religion” is a set of spiritual beliefs and rituals developed by a person, or small group of people, that is accepted and practiced by a large group of people. Religion mixed with temporal authority has been the cause of many unnecessary wars. The United States Constitution strictly prohibited religion from having any termporal authority. In developing countries, religion has become less about strict adherence to dogma, and more about a community in which to raise a family and to help the less fortunate.

Developing Your Personal Existential God

Developing your personal Existential God is a two-step process. First, you meditate to determine what are your beliefs. Second, you defend your beliefs by discussing them with others. Steps 1 and 2 are continually repeated. As a result, your set of beliefs continually change throughout your life as you keep refining your faith.
